Waking Up To You Never Felt So Real

So... I've begun to truely listen to this band 'Skillet' and I have fallen absolutely in love with them. Such a wonderful Christian band that I can enjoy. I love the lead singer and his wife. I love the bass and drums. The guitars are amazing. The messages in each song are touching to me in a way music hasn't touched me before. I've fallen for songs like 'Comatose' and 'Rebirthing' but in no way are those the limits. I think that it's amazing how a band with such a sound could be so inspiring.

I saw 'Skillet' this past January at the Winter Jam at the Bi-Lo Center. They were absolutely amazing. I was up in the upper bowl, but I was happy with that. I was with my best friend Keith. I was enjoying their first song when the man behind me started booing at the end. I turned around to find a fat old redneck and said 'That's not the Christian thing to do.' and he replied with 'That's not Christian' and I said 'Well that's for God to decide not you'. He didn't boo anymore. They had an outstanding performance and I was so drawn to them. Everything that they said and sung were inspirational.

I recently started listening to Shine 96.7 and heard them on there. I instantly downloaded LimeWire and got all of their songs. I have just become obsessed and craved for their music. They have completely brought me closer to God. They have truely openned my eyes to Him and everything that He means to me.
