It all started late Thursday night. My best friend Keith picked me up from my house and we had decided to go to 221 downtown. 221 is a club and we had an absolute blast. We got in line at exactly midnight, so I was officially 18 once I walked in the door. We danced the entire time and just having a grand ole time. He might have been the worst dancer there, but I made him better. I just had to stand there and it made him better. He knew that he wasn't great and knew that I knew it. We got back home around 2am.
I slept in late on Friday because I didn't have class and everyone else in my family was at school or work. I had gotten a CD player for my car and was going to go and have Eli install it, but I had gone to the gas station up the street to get some gas before going to Eli's work, he works at a full service gas station/garage, to have my CD player installed. I got out of my car, shut the door, and then turned around to see my keys still in the ignition. I called my Mom, who was at work, and she said, 'Walk back home and get the spare.' I walked home, got the spare, walked back, and then FINALLY got my car back open. I went back inside and then bought my first ever lottery ticket. When I got back in the car, I scratched them, but they were both losers. I drove all the way to the station and then we began to install the CD player. He had to keep helping at work though, so it took a lot longer than we had expected. When we finally finished around 2:15, we went to have lunch a Cici's Pizza together, listening to my new CD player of course! After that, I got back home for a little while and then I got a call from McLovin and Christopher. They said that they were on their way to my house to pick me up and take me to a surprise dinner. They didn't tell me where or anything, just that Keith had planned it as a surprise. I quickly changed into a dress and got out the door. We drove to the destination of Outback. I walked in the door to find a table for 8 with a huge balloon and a gorgeous vase of flowers. I hugged everyone there. This included Keith, Michael, McLovin, Christopher, and James. I sat next to Keith only to have to stand again to welcome David and his girlfriend Tamyra. It was so wonderful to have a great dinner with some of my great friends. We all ordered and then, while we were waiting, Keith and Michael sang a harmonous 'Happy Birthday' that I enjoyed very much. They were both so wonderful and we all gave them a round of applaudse. After we ate our dinner, the Outback crew brought me some ice-cream and sang me another 'Happy Birthday' and then I ate my ice-cream. After we all were done, McLovin and Christopher took me back to my house and I changed quickly into a tanktop and jeans. We went to the football game at Eastside. It was Riverside vs. Eastside. Eastside lost to Riverside 14 to 39. The game was pretty cool. I got to see some of my old EHS friends and they were so glad to see me. I mostly had to hang around with Keith and his friends though. Eli and I hung out too. He came to the game with me and we had a pretty good time.
The next day, again I slept fairly late. I finally openned my presents and I got 2 new shirts, a steering wheel cover, a feet mat for my car, some little figurines that I collect, and a new book. It was all wonderful. That day, I went and took Cassidy and Standish to Blockbusters to let them get some games they wanted. Then, I came back home and hung around there. David came over around 4 to do his scrapbook page for my birthday. He was here for a while doing his page. When he was finished, Eli came and picked me up and we went and rented 2 movies for us to watch. We watched 'Shutter' and 'Nim's Island'. We just laid on his couch in the living room and watched both back-to-back. They were both pretty good. I enjoyed them both.
Sunday, I woke up and didn't really do much. Eli and I went to church for the Latin Mass at 11. It was pretty good. Then we went to Fuddruckers for lunch. After that, he took me back home and then we went to do his errands at Pep Boys and Radioshack. We didn't really find what he needed and so we went back to my house and hung out for a while. Kasandra brought me by my birthday present and it was a zebra print shirt. I loved it alot. Eli and I went back to his house afterwards and we watched 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad'. When we got back to my house we watched the end of 'Forrest Gump'.
Monday was a good day too. We went to Hollywild around 1. We did the safari ride first. When we got off of the safari ride, we found out that our batteries in the camera were dead. So we left the park, drove to the nearest shop, bought some batteries, drove back, and finished with the rest of the park. It was alot of fun with everything. We got to pet little baby goats and the longhorn and the zebras. Everything there was so much fun to watch and gawk at. We took a bunch of other pictures. When we were done there, we went to Applebee's for dinner. I got a virgin pomegranate margarita and it was great! He took me home and then picked me back up to go to his Dad's house for 'Jeopardy!'.
That was my wonderful birthday weekend!
